The Path More Taken

I don't draw enough these days. Here's a scene I see almost every day that I had to get out of my head (and awkwardly scribble in a small notebook.)

Updates from the Train

Every kid in Glasgow looks like this, right down to that bag (long, baggy shorts interchangeable with tight, skinny jeans).

A few people said Trooper looked too 80s. I guess I just needed to make her clothes bigger/smaller (preferably the former).

Brian

I'm watching some testimonies on The Leveson Inquiry and doodling Brian Leveson. He has a distinctive face which is fun to draw.

Yeah, good luck with your work, I'ma have a snooze

Something I scribbled on a long train journey after the pub on a piece of scrap paper on my lap. I might do a better picture based on this, as I really liked the contrast between these two girls.

Sunday Sketchgroup

Most of my drawings from today. The first two pages didn't scan right (ink/contrast issue) and weren't good enough to warrant a redo.

Lectures, etc.

I'm not sure if I'm cut out for a Masters course... though it does offer me opportunities to improve on my observational drawing. Among other things.

Too Cool for School

I saw this guy sitting at his own table last night. In a dark & busy Union bar. I had no drawing equipment on me so I did my best on my iPod. Which is tricky. He didn't look this asleep in reality.

Sunday Sketchgroup - Now with Jazz!

Not my best of days and I really ran out of steam towards the end, but if I keep posting them here for everyone to see it'll force me to get good, lest I embarrass myself forever.
