Watch

The next step in convince. Continuing on my implants concept. This one's a rougher concept than the previous one, I'm going to continue working on it to try and get a better integration. Skin is tricky to work with. I just used the watch I wear for this test; the next version will probably be modernsied with a small phone-like LCD screen rather than an old digital display. Or maybe even a good old fashioned clockwork one...

I imagine this would be one of the first, a prototype. Soon designers will start adding the art to these implants, making them designer items. Some may find the permanence unappealing, but others will see this as being akin to tattoos or piercings.

Implants

A concept piece. I kept going over this and over this, improving the details bit by bit to try and get it as photo real as possible, but that process can go on forever so I drew the line here. What do you think?

Lauren

A little MS Paint drawing of Lauren, aka Nessie. Just working out what she looks like below the water.

Lauren in Colour

Just added a quick bit of colour to this strip for an avatar/display picture. Wasn't sure whether to make her a pinky-orange or more of an aqua colour...

Great Apes, Batman!

My college has just opened the degree show, and the work's looking fantastic!

I draw your attention in particular to the delicious Great Apes!, which I worked on. I did colour studies, rotoscoping and a little bit of animation. Check it out:

I also animated the juggling scene (and swapped surnames with Alex in the credits...) in wonderful film The Earth's Core:

Be sure to check out the rest as well!

Nessie

Some doodles I did getting ready for the current storyline in Elwood. You may know her as Nessie, but she prefers to be called Lauren.

Trooper Spaceships

Designs for the two spaceships in my animation projectThe Blueshift (Trooper's ship) and the pirate ship - possibly alien! The Blueshift, like with the character Trooper, is also part of another project I've been working on.
