I came across this wonderous thing that lets you draw pictures using your voice only!

I haven't managed to get anything beyond pleasant abstract shapes from this yet, but it's very fun and I hope soon to get something recognisable here on the blog!

Mostly marker pens and a touch of coloured pencil. This is the second character from a work in progress who'll be starring in his own animated short for my course.

Morning on Another Planet

I haven't posted here in a while, so here's a little piece I made today. It's kind of an experiment for a technique that could be better used in the future.

The sun and sky were added digitally, and besides the green tint would you believe the rest is a macro photo of a pint of beer?
