Sketches

I'm noticing a problem with my new scanner - a pale band towards the right of the scan. I haven't done many full page scans since I bought it, and the ones I did were mainly white paper so it's gone unnoticed until now. That's a real kick in the bits.

Energy Drink

I took a photo of water being poured into a glass - because I'm just that cool - and was so interested by the result, I played around with it in Photoshop.

Lyle sketch

The pencil rough for an image featuring Lyle. The finished version was 'inked' and coloured in Flash, and I shall post it here in the near future - don't want to spoil anything just now.

Screenshots

Some screenshots I released a while ago for the same project as the last post (everything you see here is created in Flash, sun included):

Solar System

A little clip from a project I'm slowly working on. I caught a lens flare while taking a video today, which led me to modifying what I'd done here slightly. I thought I'd share it with you.

EDIT: If the video is stuck 'Loading', right-click it and select 'Forward'.

#2 Lost

I should mention, I'm doing the majority of the work in these pics in Flash. This one was entire done in Flash, the last one had a little Photoshop work.

Elwood Story Arcs

I'm doing some poster/comic book cover style pictures to represent each of the bigger story arcs in Elwood. I'm making a second archive for this, where viewers can start reading a particular story, instead of picking out comics from a complete and unclear list.

Here's some (very) roughs of my ideas:

Markers

I'm too tired and frustrated to draw anything properly, so this sketch is pretty wonky. I just wanted to give the markers I bought today a quick test. I shall need to get some more for a better tonal range, defo' some darker ones. (I'd bought a black but I returned it because it was already used to the point of depletion.)

(This a character for a comic idea I've had on the back burner for a while.)
